Pittsford Pedestrian & Bike Safety Information Session: June 7th, 6:30PM

Walk Bike Pittsford is hosting an education session for the public to learn about initiatives and efforts currently underway to improve pedestrian and bike safety in the village and surrounding/connected areas in the town.

When: Thursday, June 7th at 6:30PM

Where: Pittsford Community Library, 24 State Street

Town Supervisor Bill Smith, Village Mayor Robert Corby and others will provide overviews of the Active Transportation Plan, Village Pedestrian Safety Plan and other efforts to improve walkability and safety for all who use our community streets, regardless of their mode of transportation.

We hope this will give the community an opportunity to learn, ask questions, give input and better understand what role we all play in making our streets safer for all who use them.

We know it’s a busy time of year! We hope you can join us!

RSVP to our Facebook event here.

We would like to host future information sessions. This particular session will focus on the joint Town & Village Active Transportation Plan, two initiatives in the village to improve pedestrian & bike safety and an open Q&A session at the end. We’d love to hear from you! If you have something you’d like included in a future session, leave us a comment below. Or if you plan to attend the June 7th session, you can provide your input via our comment sheet there.
